Welcome to the Show
The Shaka Shaw Show began in late 2008 when I started writing to keep my skills fresh. Eventually, I dropped the college-thesis approach to writing and just started basically shootin’ the gift with readers, which means real talk, straight no chaser, rampant swearing (edited for WordPress’ sake) and overbearing political incorrectness. I call it front-free programming.
About me specifically, I’m a 27-year-old that came to DC almost a decade ago…and I’m still here. I live in the Mt. Pleasant/Columbia Heights area with my wife, A, and our pup, Jagger. Those who know me know I’m a little off, but those who don’t probably assume I’m just an a**hole, minus the funny. Still an a**hole, but it’s all for entertainment’s sake. Enjoy.
